London museum indicates from the prehistoric to modern times of the London.
The museum is set up on the London wall close to the barbican center as a part of the barbican site built during 1960s, 1970s as redevelopment of the areas which were damaged because of the second world war. City of London Corporation and the Greater London Authority control and fund for the museum.
Major intend of the museum is to record the social history and the inhabitants of London. How London has been changed with Romans and Saxons, wonder at medieval London and the era when London was destroyed because of the civil wars.
The museum will be moved to the Smithfield Market from barbican building by 2021 as the announcement made by the museum in March 2015.
Price
Free to enter the museum. Visitors of the museum eligible to join daily highlights free tours or book tickets. Facility for group tours are provided for additional cost.
