Dockland museum is a part of London museum which is funded by City of London Corporation and Greater London authority. Previously it was also known as museum in Docklands.
The museum is considered as one of the hidden treasures in London. This includes listed warehouse on west India Quay. The collection tells the story of the history in London’s river Thames, its port, people who arrived from Romans, and the growth of the docklands.
The collection consists of galleries “Mudlarks”. That is a children interactive area, “Sailortown” “Sugar & Slavery” brings the story on involvement in London for transatlantic slave trade.

Free to enter the museum for under 16’s, unwaged, NUS card-holders and disabled carers. Annual adults’ tickets are available and those allow re-admission for one year. The cost for annual tickets is £5.00. Facility to apply the special rates for pre-booked collage parties and schools.
